Ask Steve
Your own AI assistant. It knows your clients, your books, your practice — nobody else's.
(Preview — your agent will be live here.)
Clients
Pick a client. Run their entire books from here.
Client A
Add link
Paste the link to this client's account in this tool. It saves on this device, and the button then opens it in a new tab. Your sign-in itself stays with that tool — we never see or store your credentials.

🧠 Client memory — never lose what you know
Messages
Every client conversation in one place. They reply from their portal, email, or text — it all lands here.
CRM
Your Business Hub OS CRM — contacts, pipeline, and follow-up, one click away.
Lead System
New clients, shared fairly. A business asks Bookkeepers Growth Network to match them with a bookkeeper, the round robin hands the lead to the next participating member, and the lead is created inside that member's own CRM.
How the round robin works
A business asks to be matched
They describe their business on the network's Find a Bookkeeper page and agree to be texted by the bookkeeper they are matched with.
Dave's board sees it first
Every lead lands on the master board in the network CRM first, so the pool stays honest and every assignment is on the record.
The rotation picks the next member
Participating members with an active CRM take turns. Paused or inactive members are skipped, and the lead is created in the receiving member's own CRM.
First contact fires on its own
The member's workflow texts the lead within about a minute, from the member's own number and in the member's name. Then a same-day email, a day 2 nudge, a day 5 touch, and a weekly follow-up until an outcome is recorded.
You only ever see your own assignments here. No member holds more than 3 unworked assignments at once (proposed cap), so a shared pool stays shared. SAMPLE Rotation snapshot: 6 participating members, and your turn comes after two more assignments.
My assignments SAMPLE
Your share of the pool
Of the $499 package, $50 a month funds the shared ad pool that brings these businesses to the network (the plan of record; final package contents are being confirmed). Equal contributors get equal turns: the rotation favors nobody, and the fund ledger sits on Dave's console, where every dollar in and out stays on the record.
Proposals
The Proposal Guide: record a discovery call and Steve turns it into a checked questionnaire, a Logix-branded proposal, and a client portal. Included with membership.
Start a new proposal
Run the discovery call right here, or upload a recording you already have. Steve pulls out what the client said hurts, the services you discussed, and the numbers, then pre-fills the questionnaire for you to check. You always review before anything is generated.
Mock demo: try record or upload, then watch the questionnaire light up below.

Training Library
Dave's recorded trainings, each paired with a short animated explainer that pulls out the big ideas. Watch the explainer for the framework, then the full session for the whole conversation. Included with membership.
Your BGN Platform: The Full Walkthrough
The full tour of the platform included with membership: your workspace and directory profile, your clients and their app, the QuickBooks link and your tool links, your virtual business card, the community, and the Solutions shelf. Dave also opens with a schedule change: Discovery Method Part 3 moves to the first Thursday of November, built around Christine Vesterby's pricing calculator as it heads to beta testers.
🎙 Recorded training
Dave hosts the network training session: the schedule change and Christine's calculator first, then Anton and Erik walk through the base platform piece by piece, with questions from members along the way.
▶ Watch the recorded session🎬 Animated walkthrough
3 minutes: the platform tour, animated. Built from the key points of this session: your workspace, your number as your key, your clients and their app, your tools in one secure place, your virtual card, and the CRM that moves on its own.
🎧 Audio deep dive
21 minutes: listen instead. Two hosts dig into the big ideas from this session in "Off Grid Local AI for Bookkeepers", the audio overview made from the training recording: local AI, security, and what the platform means for your practice.
📄 Session notes
What the walkthrough covers:
- Your workspace: a directory profile for your firm and a workspace of your own, opening on the pieces you use every day.
- Clients and their app: your client list in one place, and a client side app for messages, documents, and the reports you share.
- QuickBooks and your tools: the QuickBooks link works the way you already reach it (through Double, for example), and your client folders hold the rest of your links: Sage, FreshBooks, Wave, Zoho, payroll, document portals, and payment links.
- Your virtual business card: a card on your phone with your QR code; capture who you meet, photo and all, and the connection lands in your workspace.
- Community and trainings: the Discord community button, and this Training Library, where the network trainings live.
- Solutions: the Solutions shelf in your workspace, with referral paths members can offer their clients.
- Base and AI, kept straight: the base platform included with membership has no AI in it. The AI pieces shown on the call, including Ask Steve and analysis of your numbers, belong to the AI package.
- Security and local models: how the local model setup keeps client work off the big cloud models, with backups running on their own schedule.
- The CRM: a look at the CRM that moves leads through stages on its own and restarts follow up when a lead goes quiet.
Also on this session: Discovery Method Part 3 is postponed to the first Thursday of November, where Christine's pricing calculator joins the series as it opens to beta testers. Anton will reach out to each member individually to set up the base platform.

The Four Client Relationships
Dave's framework for the four levels of a client relationship, from knowing the numbers to becoming the owner's first call, and why the levels are relationships you agree on, not grades you climb.
🎙 Recorded training
Dave teaches this framework on the October 7, 2026 network call. The Four Levels teaching runs about 1:13 to 1:18 in; the full BGN teaching segment runs 58:08 to 1:29:12.
▶ Watch the recorded session🎬 Animated explainer
85 seconds: the framework, animated, ending with the question Dave wants you to ask before your next proposal.
🎧 Audio deep dive
18 minutes: listen instead. Two hosts work through Dave's framework in "Four Client Relationships Every Bookkeeper Needs", the audio overview made from this training: the four levels, what each one asks of you, and the question to take into your next proposal.
📄 Transcript & session notes
The four levels, as Dave teaches them:
- Level 1, Know the numbers: accurate records and reports.
- Level 2, Strategic partner: understand the company and interpret what the numbers mean.
- Level 3, Growth partner: identify business gaps and introduce appropriate vetted solutions.
- Level 4, Influencer: become a trusted resource owners return to when new challenges arise.
Dave is explicit that one level is not better than another: a firm can operate at one level overall and hold a different relationship with a particular client. The working question is what relationship you have agreed to, and whether your scope and pricing support it.

Financial Well-being: The MSA Program
A walkthrough of the financial well-being program from My Secure Advantage (MSA): unbiased money coaching with no product sales, a digital platform available around the clock, and the framework MSA calls the Keys to Financial Health: My Money, My Credit, My Protection, and My Retirement. Something you can use yourself, and share with the clients you serve.
🎙 Recorded seminar
Andrew Ghezzi presents the MSA program: what money coaching is and is not, the coaching team and its credentials, the digital platform, and the four Keys to Financial Health.

The full slide deck from the seminar, hosted in this library: the program overview, the four Keys, a sample budget, SMART goal worksheets, and how coaching works.
▶ View the slides (PDF)📄 Seminar notes: what MSA covers
The four Keys to Financial Health:
- My Money: a balanced budget with positive cash flow. SMART goals, a sample monthly budget, and three ways to allocate (percentage based, financial priority, zero-dollar).
- My Credit: a favorable credit score and manageable debt. Strategies in order of credit impact, from debt stacking and consolidation through counseling, settlement, and bankruptcy.
- My Protection: measures in place for the unexpected. Emergency savings in three steps (set the goal, calculate the target, automate it), plus a review of life, disability, home, auto, umbrella, and long-term care coverage.
- My Retirement: a plan for the future you want. Readiness steps, employer plan basics (take the full match, traditional vs. Roth, the HSA), and projecting retirement expenses.
How money coaching works: coaches build your knowledge and habits and provide accountability and support. They do not manage your money, give specific investment advice, sell products, or work on commission.
Getting started: MSA takes appointments at 888-724-2326 (Monday to Friday, 6am to 5pm PT) and at mysecureadvantage.com. The registration details for BGN members come through Dave. The access codes shown in the deck are examples, not live codes.

401(k) Plans
Offer your clients a real retirement plan for their team, through Consilium Plus, and earn $500 for every plan you refer that gets set up.
A real retirement plan for your client’s team
Consilium Plus sets up and runs 401(k) retirement plans for small businesses. Your client can offer their crew a proper plan without hiring a benefits department or figuring it out alone.
You see the moment before anyone else does
Owners ask about retirement plans all the time, then drop the idea because it sounds complicated. You run their payroll and see their team every month, so you know when the business can support a plan, and when keeping good people depends on having one.
Three steps, and the heavy lifting is not yours
- 1Spot the needA growing team, an owner asking about benefits, a key hire they want to keep.
- 2Make the introductionSend the referral from this page. Consilium Plus contacts your client, does the specialist work, and keeps you in the loop.
- 3Get paid your shareWhen the plan is set up, your referral is credited to you.
$500 for every plan you refer
Consilium Plus pays $500 per 401(k) plan referred that gets set up. One introduction from you, handled start to finish by their team, and your practice earns well beyond the bookkeeping fee.
Wellness
Offer your clients a workplace wellness program for their people, through Consilium Plus, and earn an ongoing share for every person enrolled.
Benefits your clients can actually offer
Workplace wellness programs arranged through Consilium Plus and sized for small teams. Your client gives their people something that helps them stay healthy, and stay.
Often the first benefit a small team can say yes to
Good people leave small businesses over benefits, and owners assume every option is priced for big companies. A wellness program is often the first benefit a growing client can realistically offer, and you are the one who hears about the hiring pain first.
Three steps, and the heavy lifting is not yours
- 1Spot the needA client struggling to hire or keep people, or asking what benefits they can afford.
- 2Make the introductionSend the referral from this page. Consilium Plus contacts your client, does the specialist work, and keeps you in the loop.
- 3Get paid your shareYour share is paid for as long as your client stays enrolled.
Paid per person, month after month
Wellness pays an ongoing revenue share for every person enrolled, so a single referral keeps paying while the program runs. Exact terms are shared by Consilium Plus when you make your first referral.

You see the growth problem in the numbers first
Slow months, flat revenue, a great service nobody hears about. You spot it in the books before your client says it out loud, and now you have somewhere trusted to send them.
Three steps, and the heavy lifting is not yours
- 1Spot the needRevenue going flat, a new service launching, or a client asking how to get more customers.
- 2Make the introductionSend the referral from this page. Consilium Plus contacts your client, does the specialist work, and keeps you in the loop.

Funding
Funding help for your clients through three vetted partners: revenue-based funding, business credit, and lower card processing fees.
Funding help, without sending clients to a search engine
The Consilium Plus funding desk and its partners cover three needs: revenue-based funding through Evan, business credit through Fund&Grow, and lower card processing fees through Fix My Fees.
Cash stress is the loudest thing in the books
Growth that needs money, a rough patch that needs bridging, card fees quietly eating the margin on every sale. You see all of it first. A vetted place to send the client beats a search result every time.
Three steps, and the heavy lifting is not yours
- 1Spot the needA client who needs capital, credit lines, or relief from card processing fees.
- 2Make the introductionUse the partner buttons below where a pathway is live, or send the referral here and Consilium Plus will route it to the right partner.
- 3Get paid your shareWhen your client signs up, the partner payout is tracked to you.
Partners pay per client who signs up
Fund&Grow referral terms are arranged through Consilium Plus. Fix My Fees pays through our affiliate pathway. Evan’s terms are shared by Consilium Plus. Every referral carries your name.
Three ways to fund your client
Fund&Grow
Builds business credit and stacks funding lines for clients who need capital, and a credit profile that can carry it.
Referral terms are arranged through Consilium Plus.
Evan
Funding based on the revenue a business already brings in, for clients who sell every month but do not fit a bank loan.
Referral terms shared by Consilium Plus.
Merchant Services
Merchant Services & Payment-Cost Review
Reviews what your client pays to accept cards and lowers it, so more of every sale stays in the business. Merchants start with a short payment-cost review call.
Pays through our affiliate pathway.
